Intellectual property advisory

Custodium advises corporate clients on protecting intellectual property rights through strategy, prevention, and dispute support—including negotiations, claims, and settlement processes—without manufacturing or selling goods.

Strategic IP advisory

Effective IP protection begins with alignment between business strategy and rights enforcement. We help clients prioritize what matters most: trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, design rights, patents (where applicable), and contractual protections that support licensing and partnerships.

Our advisory work emphasizes practical risk reduction: identifying exposure points, defining monitoring approaches, and building escalation paths when misuse is detected.

Counterfeiting and unauthorized use

Counterfeiting and unauthorized use can damage revenue, customer trust, and channel relationships. Custodium supports prevention and mitigation strategies, including assessment of supply chain vulnerabilities, partner diligence considerations, and structured responses when infringing activity is identified.

Disputes, negotiations, and settlements

We support clients during intellectual property disputes by helping leadership understand issues, options, and tradeoffs. This can include preparation for negotiations, representation support during claims (as defined in the engagement), and intermediary support when multiple stakeholders must reach agreement.

Clients should involve licensed legal counsel where formal legal representation is required; Custodium’s role is advisory and facilitative unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
